Why the Booking Page Shows as Disabled

Last updated: 2026-08-15

If a customer follows your booking link but instead of the usual form sees only your salon's name and a message like "Online booking isn't available right now," that's not an error — it means the booking page has been switched off from the admin side.

Example: Say a massage studio owner is short-staffed for a few days and turns off the toggle under Settings > Booking Page to pause online bookings temporarily. From then on, customers clicking the booking link don't see an error page — they see a dedicated screen showing the salon's name, a message saying "Online booking isn't available right now," and, if a phone number or address is set on the salon profile, that contact information too. Once staffing is sorted a few days later and the toggle is switched back on, customers immediately see the normal booking form again.

  1. Check whether the booking page is enabled: Go to Settings > Booking Page and confirm the toggle is switched on. If it's off, customers only ever see the disabled-state screen above — the booking form itself never appears.
  2. Check that at least one active service exists: Even with the booking page toggle on, if every service is inactive or none have been created yet, customers have nothing to actually book. This tends to show up as an inability to complete a booking rather than a fully blocked page, so also check your service setup — see "Setting up service categories and your menu" and "Booking page vs. mini-site".

Both conditions — the booking page switched on, and at least one active service — need to be true before customers can book normally.
