Topping Up WhatsApp and Alimtalk Notification Credits

Notification delivery in Biseo uses a credit-based system. Every message sent by Kakao Alimtalk, SMS, or WhatsApp — booking confirmations, reminders, cancellation notices — deducts one credit, and once your plan's monthly free credits run out, no further notifications go out until you top up.

Each subscription plan includes a different amount of free monthly credits:

• Free: 0 credits (You can still purchase credits to use Alimtalk/SMS)
• Starter: 500 credits
• Growth: 1,000 credits
• AutoPilot: 3,000 credits

If you run out of credits due to a high volume of bookings, essential notifications like booking confirmations or reminders will not be sent to your customers.

Example: Say a salon on the Starter plan (500 credits a month) generates 550 notifications in a busy month between bookings and reminders. Starting the month with 500 credits, the balance drops to 100 (20% of the total) around day 20, triggering the orange header warning and the low-credit alert. If a Small pack (500 credits) isn't purchased at that point, credits run out entirely around day 27, and booking confirmations or reminders may stop reaching customers for the rest of the month.

Top-up Notification Credits & Balance Alerts

Whenever you are low on credits, you can manually purchase an Add-on Credit Pack (Small 500, Medium 1,500, Large 5,000) anytime from the Settings > Notifications or Settings > Subscription/Billing page. If your salon regularly exceeds its included monthly quota, as in the example above, it's simpler to buy a larger pack (Medium or Large) upfront or move to a higher plan than to top up right before running out every month.

To help prevent missed notifications, Biseo automatically displays an orange warning indicator in the top header and triggers a Low Credit Alert (credit_low) when your remaining credits fall below 20%. Upon receiving the alert, you can quickly purchase an add-on pack to ensure critical notifications remain uninterrupted.

✨팁 (Tip)

The higher your subscription plan, the more discount you receive on add-on credit packs (Starter 15%, Growth 30%, AutoPilot 40%). If your salon sends a lot of notifications, upgrading your plan is the most cost-effective choice.
