My business address isn't showing on the map

If you type your business address in as plain text, the pin on your booking page map may not land in the right place. That's because the system only saves accurate latitude/longitude coordinates when you pick an entry from the autocomplete list — a typed-out address string on its own can leave the pin pointing at the wrong spot, or missing entirely.

How to fix it

1. Go to Settings > Business Profile.
2. Type your street address or building name into the address field.
3. From the Google autocomplete list that appears below, click the matching address to select it.
4. Enter any unit-level details (such as suite or floor number) separately in the "Address line 2" field.

This lets customers find your exact location on Google Maps from the booking page.

Example: Say you run a nail salon in central Sydney at "12/45 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000". Typing just "45 George Street" into the address field is enough to bring up the building as a suggestion in the autocomplete list. Click that entry to select it, then enter the unit number "12" separately in the "Address line 2" field. If you instead type the whole address, unit number included ("12/45 George Street..."), in one go without using autocomplete, it may not match anything in the list.

Things to watch out for

• Autocomplete only appears for "physical" businesses. If your business type isn't a store with a real address (for example, a mobile massage service that visits customers at home), the Google autocomplete list won't show up under the address field at all. These business types are shown to customers as service areas rather than a map pin, so it's expected that you won't find an autocomplete list no matter how precisely you type the address.
• Autocomplete only supports Australian (AU) addresses. For example, if you select a New Zealand branch address ("10 Queen Street, Auckland") from the autocomplete list, the system automatically rejects it and clears out any address and coordinates you'd already entered. An error message appears on screen, so make sure to choose an address within Australia.
